While it's designed for travel and personal use, if you are extremely concerned about traveling light, this may not be the right wedge for you. However, this version (22 inches wide) is a lot smaller than the original Travelwedge PRO which is 30 inches wide.
You definitely need to plan for a little extra space to bring this along. When deflated and folded its about the size of a Large Folded Shirt

5 of 5 Perfect travel wedge for GERD February 15, 2026

I've had GERD since I was a teenager but didn't start sleeping on a wedge until my mid-20s. Huge game changer but now it's really difficult/uncomfortable for me to sleep laying down. I have a fancy setup at home with all of my pillows, but this is a GREAT option for travel. I first got the 30" and it's a great pillow but HUGE. When my husband and I sleep in a Queen bed while traveling, it takes up so much space. I recently got the 22" and it's much better for my needs. I might even be able to fit this into a suitcase and upgrade from my fully inflatable wedge, which packs down really well but isn't super comfortable. Saving money in the open box was a happy bonus!

I had difficulty getting the wedge pillow inflated after it came. It partially inflated on its own. The valve design made it difficult to inflate by mouth. Once inflated, it was a comfortable firmness. It did not make noise when moving on it. However, I found the obligatory bending at the hips with it uncomfortable compared with raising the head of the bed and being able to lie with my legs in line with my abdomen. I haven't tried to deflate it for traveling but wonder if it will be hard to inflate after that. I'm not sure it's worth the trouble for travel.
